Philadelphia Eagles owners commissioned Martha Madigan to create works of art for the VIP Lounge and Club Level Restaurants at Lincoln Financial Field. In 2003, Madigan completed mural scale works incorporating the theme of the Eagle as the eternal symbol of Freedom for the Lounge. These works employ a range of new technologies from Lenticular Backlit Murals to Giclée prints on paper and cloth.
The large scale photographic murals on canvas for the East and West Club Restaurants, incorporate images of the ancient iconic symbol of the Coliseum with contemporary images of crowds filling the state of the art stadium, Lincoln Financial Field.
The concept for these works of art incorporates the enduring human quest for freedom with the drive to attain the highest achievement with the human body in the realm of sports.
